What does my dog do all day?

Run, play, socialize, fetch, lounge, snuggle, and get lots of attention from our staff! You can rest assured that your dog will have lots of stimulation while you are away.

What vaccines are required?

We require all dogs to be up to date with rabies, distemper, and bortedella prior to enrollment. Please make sure to send updated copies of your pet’s records after a visit to the vet.

What are the health restrictions?

All must be in good health to attend daycare and provide proof of vaccinations. Dogs that acquire any illness must stay home from daycare until they have seen a vet and recovered completely.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes, we have been inspected and licensed by the City of Boston Animal Control and carry an insurance policy.

What if my dog does not get along with other dogs well, is daycare still an option?

Daycare is not for every dog. This does not make your dog a bad dog; some dogs prefer to interact with limited dogs or do not enjoy the daycare experience. For the safety of all of our dogs, we must be very selective in which dogs we allow to attend daycare. All dogs must exhibit non-aggressive behavior towards other dogs and humans. If your dog does not have this characteristic, daycare is likely not for your pet.

How do I enroll?

Please give us a call or send us an e-mail to schedule a trial day! If you want to get a head start, have your vet fax us your pet’s vaccinations and download the enrollment forms on our site. We will set up a day to have a trial day and assess your dog’s behavior and fit with the rest of the pack.

Can I come by for a tour?

Of course!! Please send us an e-mail or call ahead if you’d like to come by for a tour of the facility. Mornings and evenings are busy during drop-off and pick-up times, so we recommend scheduling a tour for mid to late afternoon. However, we can certainly accommodate another time if your schedule does not allow a visit during the afternoon.

Do you offer hourly rates?

There is no hourly rate; however, any daycare up to 5 hours is considered a “half day.”

Do you provide lunch for the dogs?

We have a lunch break from 12pm-1pm daily, but owners must provide their pet’s food. Dogs that normally don’t eat a lunch may also benefit from a small “snack” on daycare days. The dogs are running around all day and expend lots of energy, so they often get hungry mid-day!

Do you have toys in the playroom?

The dogs romp around on the play structures we have in the room, as well as play with balls. We do not provide other toys in the playroom to minimize the risk of toy possessiveness. However, it is important that your dog is not overly ball possessive.

Do you require dogs to be spayed or neutered?

All dogs over 6 months are required to be spayed or neutered to attend daycare.

What are the payment policies?

Payment is due on the day of service, unless you have pre-purchased a discount package or have agreed to leave your credit card on file for us to charge you at the end of the week. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.

Do you have webcams?

No, but we do post lots of videos and pictures of your pet playing on the Facebook page! Please follow us there to see your pet having a ball and playing with his/her friends. Please let us know if you would like to see more and we’ll be sure to get your dog on camera!

Are there any breed restrictions?

Dog admission is at the full discretion of the staff.

Do you offer training?

We do not currently offer training classes, but we plan to hold evening sessions in the future. Please let us know if this is something you would be interested in attending! It is important to remember that daycare is not a substitution for training. Continued training and trips to the dog park with you will help ensure your dog is able to remain a well-adjusted member of the pack.

What other services do you offer?

We offer luxury baths for $20…your dog can come home smelling nice and clean after a long day of play! Just let us know at drop-off if you’d like a bath and what time you will be arriving so we can have your dog bathed before you arrive. We also offer nail trimming and teeth brushing!
